International sanctions
The Insurer will not process or otherwise engage activity for or on behalf of a sanctioned individual, entity, territory, country or organisation targeted by United Nations, European Union or other applicable international sanctions regime (limitation, embargo, freezing of assets or control), in particular activity involving directly or indirectly countries listed as Sanctioned Countries.
It is agreed and understood that no action that implies a direct or indirect connection to a sanctioned individual, entity, territory, country or organisation could be implemented by the Insurer. No contractual obligations can have for object or effect a violation of the international sanctions rules here above described and the Insurer will incur no liability or obligation to pay remedies or indemnities whatsoever because of this non-implementation.
